DAYS One AND TWONEXT
Golf and Cruise
After a night in Auckland, fly into the Bay of Plenty, and on to Mount Maunganui Golf Club for 9 holes of golf.
Then, a boat cruise to White Island, where on arrival, you will have a feast on board before turning your attention to catching live bait.
Next day, Yellowtail and Kingfish are our main target species. These fish are commonly found in 250-400 metres of water requiring specialised tackle and some elbow grease to reel ‘em in!
Late afternoon you will hit the shore and leave your catch with Skipper who will ensure it is expertly packed for air freight to your home country. If there is time, we will arrange some of the catch to be battered for the freshest, most delicious Fish and Chips you will ever taste.
Check-in to Treetops Lodge near Rotorua, before heading out for a degustation dinner and a few friendly rounds of snooker.
DAYS THREE AND FOURNEXT
Setting out for the Waihaha – Waihora section of the Great Lake Trail by 4WD, we make our way across stunning terrain and onto a Waikare boat cruise for lunch, fishing, and clay-bird shooting.
Then it is on to the chopper and off towards Ngamatea Station, to test out the shooting range and ensure your eyes are in for the following day, while the Guides prepare dinner.
Next morning, you will be guided to spot your trophy at a distance amongst Ngamatea's open expanses where herds of Sika and Red Deer roam. You will experience the true stalking challenge of trying to close the distance to secure the trophy of your dreams.
