THE ANTIPODEAN FOUNDERS

Founded by New Zealanders, Alexandra Stewart and Dean Nikora, out of their combined passion to elevate luxury travel and culturally enriching experiences, with a style of hospitality that is welcoming, delightful, impeccable, and most importantly, always down to earth.

Dean Nikora - Director

A trained private pilot, experienced diver, fisherman and hunter, Dean’s a true New Zealand adventurer with established and exclusive partnerships with businesses, properties and professionals that help deliver on our promise.

His iwi affiliations with Ngâti Maniapoto and Ngâti Tama te Waipounamu are vastly important to him, and these values are reflected in how Antipodean runs its business and looks after our guests.

Dean is also an award-winning farmer who loves spending time on his dairy farm.

An accomplished entrepreneur with a Masters in Design, whose helmed several award-winning Product Design Projects in the family’s highly reputed global business, Alexandra decided to travel the world, to research and specialise in the development of luxury travel experiences.

A natural leader and effervescent businesswoman, her love of design and travel led to the creation of Antipodean Luxury Travel, and since 2016, has focused on building its amazing team of Holiday Designers, Guides and Hosts, bringing to life spectacular, wonder filled vacations.
