Sydney, New South Wales (2 Nights)

The Langham, Sydney (Day 1)

Upon arrival at Sydney Airport, you will be met and privately transferred to The Langham, Sydney. Situated within the heart of Sydney’s historic Rocks district, The Langham offers dramatic harbour views. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the city’s main shopping and business districts. Dining options include Kent Street Kitchen, where European and Chic cuisine is accompanied by candlelight, and Jazz & Palm Court, an elegant tearoom by day and gastronomic cocktail bar by night.
The Day Spa at The Langham, Sydney features a lavish underground sanctuary. Here you can experience attentive therapists, holistic healing treatments and can relax, and renew – The ideal way to refresh after your journey to Sydney.


The Langham, Sydney (Day 2)

Included in your stay in Sydney is a full day city and harbour tour, allowing you to experience the beautiful city both by land, and by sea.
In the morning you will be picked up from your accommodation by your knowledgeable guide to commence your city tour. Starting at The Rocks, you will weave through the backstreets of the area, under the Harbour Bridge and on to Walsh Bay. See The most iconic sites of Sydney including The Botanical Gardens, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, and Government House to name just a few, before weaving your way through trendy Paddington known for its historical period terrace houses, down to Double Bay and finishing as Rose Bay.
Following your city tour, board the luxury motor cruiser ‘Iluka’ for an unforgettable Sydney Harbour and surrounds cruise. Stop in a quiet, picturesque bay for a gourmet lunch aboard the vessel. Lunch is an assortment of fresh local seafoods, delicious salads and BBQ. Following lunch take a relaxing cruise back to Rose Bay via the magnificent waterfront properties of Double Bay, Point Pier and Vaucluse.


Lord Howe Island, New South Wales (3 Nights)

Capella Lodge (Day 3)

This morning you will be met at The Langham, Sydney and privately transferred to the Sydney Airport. Board the scheduled flight to Lord Howe Island, where upon arrival you will be transferred to the Lodge.

Continue to enjoy the selected activities on offer while staying at Capella Lodge. Explore rich green forests, relax on tranquil white beaches, or snorkel the unique wonders of the reef (snorkeling equipment is included in your stay). Bicycles are the main form of transport on the island and they are available for Capella guest’s use.
Other activities can be arranged for an additional cost, including fishing tours with a local operator, surfing, exploring the island in search of rare birds and plants and climbing Mt Lidgebird.


Capella Lodge, Lord Howe Island (Day 5)

Continue to enjoy the selected activities on offer while staying at Capella Lodge. Choose to do as little or as much as you would like.


Islington Hotel (2 Nights)

Hobart, Tasmania (Day 6)

This morning board the scheduled flight to Sydney and connect through to Hobart. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Islington Hotel, a boutique retreat offering history, style and stunning gardens. It also enjoys some of the city’s finest views of Mt Wellington.
Decorated with fine artworks and furnished with antiques, Islington appeals to those who want the very best in life, complemented by great service in an atmosphere of serenity, luxury and tranquillity. Upon arrival, the entrance opens into an expansive marble-floored hallway from which extends a library stocked with books on early Tasmania, a drawing room for the taking of tea, and a morning room where the sun shines by day, and the log fires crackle by night. The centrepiece of the hotel is the conservatory, adjoining the country kitchen and extending onto a marble paved terrace. Beyond is a 35 sq. metre reflecting infinity pond, a mountain view pavilion and, towering in the background, the ever-changing beauty of Mt Wellington.
This afternoon you will have at leisure to explore Hobart. Perhaps visit MONA. The Museum of Old & New Art is one of the world’s most unique and controversial museums. View the largest private art collection in Australia with its fascinating blend of ancient and modern art.
This evening you have at leisure to dine at one of Hobart’s wonderful restaurants.


Islington Hotel (Day 7)

This morning you will be met at the Islington Hotel by your private guide where you will have a chance to explore Port Arthur, Richmond and Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary.
The Tasman Peninsula and Port Arthur Historic Site are some of Tasmania’s most visited destinations. Tasmania’s famous convict settlement site features many attractions, and your experienced guide will bring its history alive. Visit the famous geological features of the peninsula as you explore the rugged coastline.
In the afternoon travel to the historic village of Richmond before meeting Tasmanian’s enigmatic character, the Tasmanian Devil at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. You will also have the chance to view Wombats, Wallabies, Echidnas, Quolls and other Australian animals first hand.


Saffire (2 Nights)

Freycinet, Tasmania (Day 6)

This morning you will be collected from the Islington Hotel and transferred to Saffire Freycinet, which takes approximately 2.5 hours’ drive.
Saffire Freycinet is a coastal sanctuary capturing the essence of Tasmania’s most sublime coastal region, the Freycinet Peninsula. The 20-suite retreat is located on the inside of a gentle curve of sandy coastline that joins the peninsula to mainland Tasmania. Distinct in its design and exclusive in its features, Saffire takes its inspiration from the colours of the peninsula – the pink granite of the Hazards Mountains, the white sandy beaches, the sapphire-blue waters and the grey-green of the native bushland. Departure (Day 11)

After breakfast, you will be met and transferred to Hobart Airport to connect with your scheduled flight to your selected destination. If time permits, you may like to extend your time spent in Australia and venture over to Melbourne.

This tour is designed for solo travellers/couples/small groups/families with children 10 years and over. Capella Lodge is not suited to children under this age. This itinerary can be taken all year round; however, we recommend speaking with your Travel Designer as seasonal considerations may apply e.g. for this journey we suggest travelling from September to May when the weather is more favourable in the Southern region of Australia.
