3-DAY ISLAND AND WINE TASTING CHARTER (GAME DAY)

DAY ONE (GAME DAY)

As you arrive at the Viaduct Harbour Marina in Auckland, you will meet your luxury charter yacht in time for a gourmet lunch on-board.  Choose to host up to 10 guests for pre-game drinks and canapés, before being escorted to Eden Park for one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year.

DAY TWO

A leisurely breakfast will be prepared on-board, before cruising into the Hauraki Gulf where you can explore neighbouring islands, and for the energetic guests there is some fantastic mountain biking and hiking on Rangitoto Island.  Feast on seafood fresh from the waters below for lunch or fish for your own snapper and the chef will cook it for you.  Set sail to Waiheke Island in time to watch the sun set over Auckland City.  Walk through the local wineries before dining at one of the many restaurants that offer locally sourced meals, or return to your yacht for a meal prepared by your private chef.

DAY THREE

After breakfast on the yacht, step ashore to meet your private guide who will show you some of Waiheke’s award-winning vineyards.  Be sure to sample the beautiful Malbec blends which the island is known for.  The yacht will return to the Viaduct Harbour Marina at approximately 15:00.

4-DAY CULTURAL, VOLCANO AND HELI-CHARTER

DAY ONE

As you arrive at the Tauranga Harbour, you will meet your luxury charter yacht in time for a long lunch on-board.  Head out for an afternoon of skeet shooting, before returning to the boat for sunset drinks and canapés.  Dine at one of Mount Maunganui’s restaurants and soak up the relaxed atmosphere.

DAY TWO

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on-board, before sitting out for some deep water cruising. Weather dependent, either try your hand at fishing for snapper, kingfish, terakihi or blue mao mao or take in the exhilaration of ocean boating. End the day with a gourmet dinner prepared by your private chef.

DAY THREE (GAME DAY)

This morning you will fly to White Island (Whakaari) by helicopter, where you will take in aerial views of its active crater and land on the lunar-like surface. Visit a local Marae later in the day for an exclusive Antipodean Maori experience before private transfers escort you to the highly anticipated game.

DAY FOUR

For your final day, return to Tauranga Harbour, after indulging in a hearty brunch in Omokoroa.

OVERNIGHT WILDERNESS AND WILDLIFE SAFARI

Upon arrival at Christchurch you will be transferred by helicopter to Stravon, a pristine wilderness estate nestled in The Hunters Hills. En-route you will take in a birds-eye view of Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park and touch-down for an alpine lunch amongst New Zealand’s highest peaks.

You will soon become aware of Stravon’s deep connection with the Scottish Highlands as you are welcomed with Bagpipes and Haggis.  Spend the afternoon exploring New Zealand’s finest game estate, visit early Maori cave drawings or simply relax with a good book beside a remote waterfall.

Check-in to Headquarters, Stravon’s boutique lodge that sits at 3,500ft above sea level. Originally built in 1895, the hut’s pioneer flavour remains however all the mod cons of today are tastefully hidden.

In-between the extensive activities on offer, indulge in gourmet meals on the estate prepared by your private chef in the High Country Kitchen.  Sample the fine whiskies at Shackleton’s, Headquarters’ house bar which tips its hat to a couple of great Rugby supporters – the British and Irish explorer Ernest Shackleton (as well as his lost whisky) and his Captain, New Zealander – Frank Worsley.

4-DAY SOUTH ISLAND HELI-SKIING TOUR

DAY ONE
Upon arriving at Queesntown airport, you will be transferred to Eichardt’s Private Hotel, where you can enjoy unrivalled views over Lake Wakatipu. Spend the afternoon exploring the pretty alpine town or visit Amisfield’s Bistro and Cellar Door and indulge in their “Trust the Chef” signature menu, with dishes selected by the chef based on fresh produce available on the day. After returning to Eichardt’s, pop into the hotel’s famous bar and private parlour to sip on the region’s finest pinot noir or expand your cocktail horizons amongst the snowy peaks and nature beyond. Complete your evening at the newly opened Eichardt’s Grill for a gastronomic meal.

DAY TWO:

After breakfast you will be chauffeured to Queenstown’s closest ski field, Coronet Peak. A world-class ski and snowboard area with 280 hectares of skiable terrain and breath-taking views, it’s the perfect way to get your ski legs ready for your Heli-ski. Experienced skiers and riders will enjoy varied terrain from wide groomed trails to steep off-piste runs, moguls and open bowls. After a busy day up the mountain, end your day at one of Queenstown’s award-winning restaurants. Our concierge team would be delighted to arrange this for you.

DAY THREE

Today you will be transferred to Minaret Station, located in a sheltered glacial valley high above the shores of Lake Wanaka on one of New Zealand’s iconic high country stations. Discover wild deer and chamois clambering on the surrounding slopes, cheeky Kea birds appearing from nowhere to say ‘hello’ with the only sound being the water in a nearby stream making its way downhill to the lake below. Settle in for dinner at the Mountain Kitchen – the ultimate in secluded luxury. Modern cuisine paired with an extensive cellar and bar is prepared by resident chefs using fresh local produce.

DAY FOUR

The day begins with a weather check and safety briefings, before your helicopter takes you over sparkling azure lakes and the breathtaking Southern Alps. The adrenaline rush from the helicopter is nothing compared to the feeling you get when you land on top of the ridgeline surrounded by utterly remote and otherwise inaccessible mountain faces. From here it’s all downhill through untouched powder, before breaking for a gourmet alpine picnic as you reflect on the morning’s incredible runs and look forward to even bigger vertical drops and more fresh powder in the afternoon. As the sun begins to set it is time to board the helicopter again and make your way back to your luxurious chalet, ending your day in front of a roaring fire with a glass of Central Otago Pinot Noir in hand.
